Mathilde is our first Mum Rock, she's the one who inspired the collection of the same name. As a shock ambassador, she took part in the Q&A session, focusing on fashion and designers made in the South, which she likes to promote with Virginie, her friend, on the Miss Tribu blog.

How would you define a Mum Rock?

A Mum Rock is a woman who asserts herself, who dares, who doesn't care what people say, who likes to mix originality and sobriety. Admitting that you're not perfect is a strength for me and in any case, we are who we are, so we might as well accept it. The main thing is to be comfortable in your own shoes...or in your stilettos.

Passionate about fashion and designers made in the South, what would be the ideal outfit to match the MumRock Mathilde set?

For me, the Mum Rock Mathilde collection is THE touch of originality to combine with both a classic outfit and a more formal one. Which South-made designers come to mind? Leï 1984, Charlotte Aire, Cozete, Maevy Concept, and atode

Are you more of a cool Mum Rock or a hen Mum Rock?

Is a mix of the two possible? I'm basically a cool mom, but sometimes I can quickly become a mother hen in certain circumstances...

Bruno Mars but I would love to go see Stevie Wonder…

Your best music memory?

A Brooklyn Funk Essential and St Germain concert at the Docks des Sud in 2000, first kiss with Fabien, the man who still shares my life. And yes, Mum Rock can be romantic!

What's karaoke with Mathilde like?

It's 100% Madonna and I own it! A Mum who rocks and who I've been a fan of since I was a teenager!
